About
Karesse Wilkey
Born in Springfield, MO
Lives & works in Columbia, MO
Karesse Wilkey earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an Emphasis in Drawing and a Minor in Psychology at the University of Missouri, Columbia, MO. Her interests in humor, gender, sociology, and religion often conceptualize themselves through her work in illustration, although she mostly just enjoys drawing the ridiculous, sporadic, and sometimes dramatic thoughts that cross her mind throughout the day. While she feels most at home with a pen or pencil, Karesse also enjoys working in a variety of mediums and hopes to progress her work through this exploration. In her spare time, Karesse can often be found obsessing over astrology and drinking copious amounts of black coffee while feverishly doodling away
